resepi sotong sumbat ( at last.. )

just now somebody asked for the recipe sotong sumbat. actually my dear fren nana pon asked for it few days ago. and not forgetting my fren's relatives ( i brought the sotong sumbat to the bukak puasa at their house once ) i terlupa sebenarnyer about it hehehe .. mase kecik2 dulu my mom suka buat sotong sumbat ni, tp i tgk je dia buat. dah siap i makan la! tp satu hari tuh i came acrossed the recipe dlm buku recipe yg my mom gave me and asked her skit2 recipe tuh. so here it goes..

1 . sotong tak kesahla bape ekor pon .. white sotong yg ade corak2 merah tuh. tanak kecik ok, agak besar.. susah gak nak cari the right size sotong and make sure it's fresh means keras tak lembik2 tuh. agak2 pjg tapak tgn tuh ker.. or kecik skit takpe, but not so small.
2. beras pulut .. actually beras pulut ni berbeza2. last time i guna floral tuh, bes! yg timbang2 kat kedai tuh tak bes
3. santan kelapa .. i usually buy the one in box tuh jer haha mcm2 brand ade, ms, ayam, dan sebagainyerrrr
4. sedikit halia dlm 1/2 cm
5. gula melaka .. kalau keret bulat tuh amik dlm half or 3/4 ok dah. bende nih mmg manislah!! it's a desert actually.
6. toothpicks .. nih untuk sepit sotong tuh ha dgn kepala dia
7. daun pandan .. ni bagi wangi jer. ikat la dia dulu before masuk dlm periuk ok


cara- cara :

1. bersihkan sotong, buang tulang2 dia tuh. jgn lupa bersihkan kepala, potong buang apa yg tak perlu. ( u shd by now, know how to clean up the sotong )
2. basuh beras pulut agak2 jumlah cukup utk sumbat dlm perut sotong2 tuh la.
3. masukkan santan dlm beras pulut yg dah dibasuh. santan sahaja bkn air! ni cam paras banjir skit2 jer. nak bagi beras tuh rendam skit dlm santan, itu jer. mcm lemang gitu!!
4. lagi bes kalau biar jer rendam dlm santan tuh seberapa ketika, setengah jam ker..
5. then u amik sotong tuh masukkan sikit beras pulut tadi. then amik hujung sudu (kat tpt pegang tuh) u cucuk2 bagi masuk beras pulut tuh dlm badan sotong bawah tuh.
6. teruskan lah bubuh beras pulut tuh sampai dekat2 nak penuh jgn bagi penuh sgt tau. then u take the kepala and masukkan dlm bdn sotong then cucuk sotong bagi lekat dgn kepala dia dgn lidi toothpick tuh
7. susun elok2 dlm periuk. then pour the remaining santan, kalau boleh bagi dia cover all the sotong. or maybe u can add some water. tp lagi bes kalau tambah santan jer lagi and bukan air hehehe
8. u bukak api kecik ok? then letak daun pandan, secubit garam, halia kecik and not forgetting the gula melaka... and jgn lupa tutup and make sure penutup dia ade lubang skit, or u sengetkan skit tutup periuk ok?
9. ok now u tunggu la sampai kuahh dia agak pekat kering. nnt dia akan tuka kaler jadik brownish or maybe even darker. jgn hangus ok! sayang jer rugiiii.. nnt dia smell very good yum yum..
10. apa lagik! next step is makan aa!! hahahaha
